My Story
There’s a version of life you think you’re living.
And then something happens, and everything changes.
I spent over 30 years in the transportation industry.
Built from the ground up.
Led teams.
Ran operations where decisions had real consequences.
Warehousing.
Fulfillment.
Final mile delivery.
It wasn’t theory.
It was pressure.
Deadlines.
People counting on you to get it right.
And I did.
I built a business that grew past $10 million.
I was someone people relied on.
And I took that seriously.
I’ve always believed in doing the right thing.
Is it the right thing to do?
Does it help or hurt the other person?
Would the future me be proud of this decision?
In December of 2020, my son passed away.
There are no words that prepare you for that.
Everything changes.
How you see the world.
What matters.
What doesn’t.
The biggest shift for me was learning to be present.
Not passive.
Not disconnected.
Present.
Fully there.
Because life’s too short to take anything for granted.
And when I say present,
I mean actually being there.
Not distracted.
Not somewhere else.
With the people in front of you.
In the moments that matter.
I used to give trust freely.
Because I believed people were like me.
And I still believe people are good.
But I don’t give blind trust anymore.
People earn it.
And I’ve learned to pay attention to what doesn’t sit right.
To trust that instinct.
Because every time I ignored it…
I paid for it.
I see things differently.
I always have.
I can walk into a situation,
a business, a room, a problem,
and see what others don’t.
For a long time, I didn’t recognize that as a strength.
Now I do.
And it’s something I use every day, in how I lead, how I communicate, and how I help others find clarity when things feel uncertain.
I’m not here to impress anyone.
I’m here to be real.
To share what I’ve lived.
To help people move forward.
Because no matter what you’re facing,
there’s always a way forward.
